Originating from our grandmother's vision in 1969, this location embodies our family's dedication to her legacy. Committed to community support, we actively contribute to charities focused on HIV and diabetes research, as well as local food drives. Some friends suggested we check this spot out on a nice Saturday night as they live nearby and we were pretty hungry from watching some March Madness games. Came by and it was almost a full house but we were lucky enough to catch 3 seats at the bar. Guy behind the bar was cool as hell and took good care of us the whole time we were there. TVs were all in the right places to watch more games which was awesome! We shared a couple orders of BBQ and garlic parmesean wings as well as a large tin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizza and garlic parm wings were really good, but those BBQ wings were definitely the star of the show for me. Im like whats in that sauce? crack?? Damn!!! Washed it all down with some very good mezcal margaritas. Lively place where you can bring friends, dates or roll solo. I plan to visit this joint more!

I lived off 56 and Ashland as a little girl and ate this pizza frequently. It is just as good now as it was back then. For me this is the best of the best when it comes to Chicago style deep dish. Delicious and worth the price! Kudos to the family for keeping this part of Chicago history alive.
